About the Bowler
Brunswick Defense Skin Protecting Tape is a must have in your bowling kit. This tape can help take up room for a thumb that is too large, it can help protect an area of the thumb that is sensitive, or it will allow you to have a smoother release out of your thumb hole.It is easy to trim if you follow the squares on the backside.

The Brunswick Defense Skin Protecting Tape is great. I use this tape to allow me to have a cleaner release. And it does help prevent with abrasions to the thumb and can be use on the finger as well.

About the Bowler
I was having a minor issue with one of my bowling balls rubbing on my thumb, and couldn't get sanded correctly to save my life, so I applied the Brunswick Defense Skin Protecting bowling tape, and it worked just as it said it would. Great way to avoid blisters and other minor cuts.

Disappointing.
I bought this skin protection tape to cover a spot on my thumb that's been getting some serious friction recently. Before this, I'd used some Turbo Mint tape that a couple guys at the pro shop loaned me and it had worked well. However, I decided to give Brunswick a try since they were a little cheaper and I liked their other kinds of tape.
Bad idea. This tape peeled off my skin quickly and constantly. It just Would. Not. Stick. I have pretty sweaty hands, so any tape that I use is going to go through some wear and tear, but the Turbo tape I'd bought before was much, much, stronger and hung on strong no matter how many games I bowled. This stuff started peeling after one frame.
I wouldn't recommend this tape to anyone whose hands get moist, or to anyone at all actually.

I got this product, because I got a new bowling ball, and when I bowled with it, and the inside rubbed against a cut on my finger, and it hurt and affected my game. I would DEFINETLY suggest this to anyone, even if you don't need it now, one day, you might need it right then!

I gave this skin tape a 5 because it does its job well. For me I bowl a lot just about everyday, my fingers would start to cut up and never heal up but ever since i got this product my cuts and blisters are starting to go away, so I don't feel anymore pain when i throw the ball

Great price for the product. Prompt delievery as well is also nice!
I have compared to other sights but this one has most of my buisness.
I have not bought a ball but the prices are right. I am looking to purchase a ball from this bowlingball and have them drill it.
I just need to make sure that I can get a request on pin placement and top weight.

2nd time buying this tape so it is a good product. Your hands must be clean and dry before using or the adhesive will not stick very well. Seems to be a little thicker than other tapes which is why I start out with this tape and as my thumb swells during the set, I switch to the thinner tape.

Really too early to tell. I have been trying to protect my thumb from pulling tissue forward above the knuckle and leaving a raised portion of the left side. My thumb pitch has been 1/8 away and 3/16 reverse. I have been told that I need thumb pitch toward the palm to correct the problem. Please advise with any suggestions.
Thanks,
Tom Foskey

My husband and I started using this tape a few years back. I like to get my finger and thumb holes drilled bigger to allow for swelling. I wear this tape on my fingers and thumb, it just doesn't seem the same without this tape. I hate to run out, since we started using this tape, most of our friends at our bowling center have also started using it. If you want anything to take off, just let me and my husband use it and everyone else will also get it.

This tape does not seep the glue through like the Turbo Grips tape does. It is as smooth at the end of the night as it is when you first put it on.

About the Bowler
I use the skin protecting tape for a firmer grip on my ball. I was introduced by a friend to this tape about 5 or 6 yrs ago and have been using it since. In summer my hand swells and in winter it shrinks. Thus the tape. I have my balls drilled a bit bigger then usual and then I use the tape on my thumb to fit the ball. It avoids losing the ball and also avoids blisters if you should have a bad day and start releasing the ball incorectly. It also keeps me from having to keep a the tape strips in my ball to have a firm grip. Thanks for this opportunity. Lupe

Works great on my thumb to prevent blisters that I am told is my fault. My fault for not getting my thumb out of the ball cleanly. I am working on that just getting back into bowling. This tape works great and does not hinder my release. The only Negative is that when I sweat it seems to want to come off sometimes. Other then that it is fantastic.

Good product when used according to directions. Keeps callouses from forming on the edges of my fingertips and along the edge of my thumb nail. Makes for a consistent release when used to prevent callouses on the inside of the thumb.
