bowlingball.com continues our series of Editorial articles to express opinions about the bowling industry. This article asks everyone what is your opinion of bowling lessons and coaching?

Because this site provides ongoing, periodic editorial bowling articles, we thought it would be fun to hear from you as to how you view the importance of coaching in general and for yourself?

Let’s get started by stating that most professional bowlers over the course of decades of time have used coaches to help develop their highly skilled abilities. In fact, many beginning bowlers take lessons to learn the game.

Since bowlers of all skill levels do work with instructors either regularly or on occasion, it is not important what your skill level or experiences in the game have been or if you have taken lessons in the past but we would like to learn what you think about benefits of coaching?

Here are several ideas to consider before commenting:

*Have you taken bowling lessons now or in the past?

*If, so, have you learned and benefitted from coaching in some way?

*Was your experience with a coach related to your physical game skills or to mental game strategies?

*Did you learn about alignment and adjustments for aiming at the pocket, at spares, or for when the lanes change?

*Has a coach helped you devise a practice plan to work on your game away from competition?

*Perhaps you believe that you do not need coaching and do just fine bowling your way and have done so for years?

*If you have taken lessons, would you recommend lessons to others and why?

*Are lessons affordable or too expensive, in your experiences?

*Have you participated in formal bowling clinics or bowling camps as well as taken private lessons?

Your opinions about coaching and finding experienced coaches can help guide others reading the comments who are considering lessons to work on their own games.

We would like to read your comments. Kindly place your comment in our blog section immediately below this article and share with us your opinion about bowling lessons and coaching. We thank you in advance for your participation and we look forward to reading your comments.

Thank You,
