Since every bowler is faced with shooting common but challenging spares, perhaps it is useful to share with us how you adjust to this sometimes troublesome spare.

*Is an adjustment with your feet and aim point your primary way to shoot the spare?

*Do you prefer using a bowling ball which does not hook a good deal?

*Do you use your strike ball aim point on the lane as the same target for this spare?

*Do you use your strike ball and your same aim point for strikes for this spare?

*Do you deliver the ball at the same speed as you do for strike shots?

*Are you in the habit of shooting at this spare during practice time while warming up for leagues or tournaments?

*Do you routinely work on spare combinations during practice sessions?

*Are you as focused when shooting a challenging spare as you are on strike deliveries?

*Have you discussed spare shooting systems with an instructor or perhaps with teammates or friends?
