When you try to follow the travel path of your ball, you have to take into consideration your initial launch angle of attack to your aim point and then the two transition points further down the lane.

Although being deadly accurate is not a must to achieve high scores, it helps to take sharp aim at your sight target with a determined effort to release your ball consistently inside this three board wide delivery path.
