If you are forcing your shot, you might make an accuracy error or impart inconsistent finger action (spin) on your ball.
Place emphasis on your follow through swing motion so you get consistently good results heading your bowling ball to your sighting target.

If you add appropriate surface texture to your ball coupled with the right selection of coverstock and core shape, your chances of getting a good ball reaction are solid.
