I used to use the skin patch on my thumb. I tried the tape and I really like it. It works as well, if not better, than the skin patch and removes easily. When bowling several days in a row, I would have a lot of residue built up on my thumb from skin patch. I do not have that problem with the tape. Try it, I think you will like it.

The Ebonite Protecting Tape helps me to get my thumb out of the ball a whole lot better. I recommend this to anyone who has problems with their fingers sticking.

I tried this as it was on sale when I bought a ball here a couple months ago, and I must say I am very happy with it! I have a tendency to knuckle my thumb if the lanes are a little drier and this completely stops the blister I would get on the back of the thumb, as well as giving me a "clean" release without the nuskin residue. I liked it so much I bought another roll and am happier with this product than the one from Turbo which a friend gave to me because they didn't like it. Ebonite's sticks to my thumb where the turbo would start peeling away after just half a game. All in all, "thumbs" up on this tape!

I never bowl without this thumb tape. It makes for a smooth release every time and has increased my avg by almost 10 pins in the last 3 weeks. On top of that, it's easier on the thumb. No skin pealing off anymore.

About the Bowler
I have the same review for Ebonite protecting tape as I had for the Brunswick tape. It helps me keep a firm grip on my ball without having to be adding tape to my thumb hole. The protecting tape is great as my hand shrinks a bit in winter but might swell in the summer heat. You can ajust by using the protecting tape. It also is great if and when you might start releasing/thumbing the ball as it avoids you getting blisters. I recommend the use of this tape but only a person can only find out how good it is by using it themselves. Thanks for the oportunity to recomend this product. Been using it for about 6 yrs. I love this tape. I injured my thumb at work and was still able to bowl that night thanks to this tape. Even after my thumb had healed I found that it kept my thumb from sticking in the ball and gave me a more consistant release. I would highly recommend this tape to anyone that is having problems with the thumb sticking. It will also work on the fingers if you find that your fingers are a little loose but you don't want to change out inserts.

About the Bowler
The Ebonite Protecting Tape is very highly recommended for the blister prone. It's elasticity and it's flexibility makes for a great form fitting application that makes for a release that is smooth as silk! Minimal residue if any to boot!
